Pretty good TV. February 1, 2010 Greg Keats (Maryland) Got this one for my bedroom. I did not want a behemoth TV in there, so I picked this one. I like the size, it's just right. The picture quality is great. I use my HD cable box and Roku player with the 2 HDMI ports and I can say that I am very pleased with the picture quality. I am also quite pleased at the price of this TV and with Amazon Prime shipping, this was a better deal than anything local! I don't love the remote but for the most part just use the cable remote anyway, it is not an issue.
great bedroom tv January 19, 2010 Eric Harnischfeger (Rochester, NY) I purchased this television about a month ago from target and am very satisfied with it. While the on sale price of 279$ helped sway my decision I also sell these tv's everyday at my job and have never heard any complaints about them. To start I'm pretty sick of the whole bashing 720p thing...the fact is that on a tv this small 1080p really wouldn't be recognizable and the picture is just as good as on my old 40" Samsung 5 Series which to put it bluntly is amazing. As for the viewing angle complaints from many other reviews all I have to say is that I have only noticed slight blacking out of the picture when you're viewing the television from above or below it and it really isn't that noticeable. Beyond that my only other complaints are the giant and quite basic remote and the so-so sound from the speakers but for the cost I can deal. I would recommend this tv to anyone looking for a good bedroom tv that would not be viewing it from either above or below and who doesn't mind mediocre sound quality.
great pic good color January 8, 2010 Deborah Rhyndress i bought this item on amazon for 350.00 i bought this item on 12-28-09 it if got great color sound is decent this is one of them tv,s you get what you pay for i wouled never pay 350.00 agin to me it is worth 300.00 or less you can hook up a few things to it energy savor is a plus i owned it 1 day now so far it is good but that is all it is not great or blown away at the pic it is just good or okay i know the samsung tv cost more but looks better . i just hope this tv last first time vizo owner shiping was fast 3 days i had to wait for my tv longer becaue i pre orderd mine they shiped on 1-4-2010 but not a horible tv the remote is kool you can stand it up . i wouled recomend this tv but do not pay over 350.00 it not really worth anything more then that .
Worst consumer purchase EVER!! December 17, 2009 J. Hengler (Eden Prairie, MN United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
TV completely died after only 6 months. Vizio sent out a repair tech who was unsuccessful at repairing the TV. Once the repair tech determined it was not fixable. They came up with a great solution....not. Vizio was going to mail me a box (CA to MN). Once I recieve the box and I am to put the broken TV in the box and mail it back to the CA warehouse. Once they receive the box with the broken TV then they will mail me a different REFERBISHED TV to replace it. Timeline...11/13 this started. Today is 12/17 and I still do not have the REFERBISHED TV in my possession. WHAT A JOKE! Spend the extra couple hundred for a Sony or trusted brand.
Worst product I have ever made a purchase on. More importany was the horrible customer service. It's one thing if your product goes faulty....completely another when you get horrible service with it. I have been telling everyone I know not to buy VIZIO.
It's Great! November 11, 2009 Rob (WA, USA) This is a great mid range HDtv. It does everything I expected it to. I even have it hooked up to my computer for an excellent monitor. This is a great tv if your not looking for 1080dpi quality. It does have an exceptionaly wonderful picture anyway.
